Forecast Discussion
It's all about high pressure in some shape or fashion now through the end up the upcoming work week. Cool Canadian high pressure is over the southern Appalachians and migrates off the Mid-Atlantic coast Monday. Therefore, a subtle southerly breeze Sunday contributes to a less chilly afternoon. Before that happens frost is around in the valleys Sunday morning.
A late season surge of the Bermuda High develops next week promoting a steady warming trend. Atlantic moisture influences contribute to additional cloud cover once we get into Wednesday and beyond, but it won't greatly diminish the warming potential.
A front approaches from the west next Friday. Timing is somewhat in question this far out, but we've gone with with light rain developing late in the day or Friday night.
